Take me somewhere we can be alone

I don't know if its just me, but I'm starting to think that being on hiatus is like a norm in my life nowadays. So don't be surprise to only see this particular blog here being updated only once in lets see, a week? And now, I'll have to give a brief update about how the week went. You only have yourself to point fingers at, Nurul. hahahaha

Well, anyway school's been pretty nice, despite the block test results. My class's hilarious most of the time, with their usual teasings, bullying and not forgetting conversations involving those hot topic ( right alina?;) ) Yeah, school's pretty fun with the batch of people as company plus the after school movies ( HAH!) Still, haven't been serious with my school work or tests as a matter of fact. It's not that I intend to fail and screw up my As, but I think that drive that used to exist in me haven't really been visiting me these days. I know I don't have much time left to buck up and ace the final year exams, considering the weak foundation i have of practically all the subjects. And apparently, I'm not doing much either to correct that but I'm just getting on the school days day by day, hoping the drive would somehow re-appear once again? The last time i checked, I think it was during the midst of secondary school when it last existed in my life. That must've explained the peak of my education performance then. Sighs

Alright, that aside, outside of school, I do try to catch up with some fun as well.

1) Dinner with Neil.

Neil's visit to Singapore once again. Sometimes I wonder what is it about this place he's really fond of. hahaha, but he promised i could visit him in new york after my As. So, he came back with my usual doses! Dinner with him and the family in Hyatt was nice. Just a good Friday night with my pack was pretty gratifying. Oh, it was to celebrate my dad's and neil's birthdays as well anyway. I had fun telling him the stories about high school in Singapore. Comparing his side of high school, from his daughter's experience, I'm pretty much tired of the same ol' cycle here. Darnnnnnnnn

My sister's been having camps after camps! Hate to say it, but i miss her!

After that, we headed to hmv and i got my belated birthday presents! ;)

2) Sentosa with Farihin and Liyana

It's been quite awhile since I had the 'fun in the sand & sun' thing and I'm glad I joined them! Had the usual jumpshots and self timer snaps, name in the sand, mags reading and well, goofing around. Had alot of fun=)

After Liyana headed home, we caught the sunset and man, was it incredible.

Waited for her cousin with her while we caught sight of some unpleasant pain to the eyes. hahahahaha

3) 'Lepak-ed' with Jacq

I met Jacq! It was completely impromptu, i swear. But i had a good time with her as usual. A good talk with her as well. Next up: The flea on next week's sunday!

And now I'm home on a saturday! Yes, it feels good to be in my tank and slacks on a saturday! Sometimes, staying in on a weekend when everyone else is out just calms me down. don't ask me why, i like it!

I like Tuesdays. Cause that's when i can hog the laptop for some chuck bass dose and well, the city. But 'the city' is taking a break for awhile. Whitney Port is my idol, i tell you.

Oh, i have something to say.
It doesn't concern me, but I feel like i need to say this. One of the most sensitive issue among girls; the weight. Not that it's mass times g,acceleration due to gravity, but the whole discrimination against people who have a problem with it. I don't know about you,but i think it gets overrated with time, as more and more people tries their utmost best to try to be in the zone where they won't get teased by others who find pleasure in doing so. Come on, isn't there much much more important and worthy things to do besides insulting others?
I mean, honestly i haven't been teased cause of it, but i know how it feels like to be insulted. Seriously, sometimes I myself get annoyed when people make a big deal out of their friends' weight, not taking their feelings into consideration! They get affected by it and they don't even know. You know why? - Cause they're nice enough to not make it a big issue. So tell me, are the hottest girls usually the nicest people? well, think about it.

Do guys like skinny girls?

Truth is, women with curves have traditionally been considered the attractive ones, because men instinctively men look for women with strong hips that can handle child bearing. (Child bearing... *shudder*)

So if you are skinny, high five. If you aren't, that still sweet as. Guys think all gals are gorgeous. And if you're still worried, remember that Marilyn Monroe (the hottest woman who ever lived) was a size 16! Nuff said."

Enough said. I shall go do some homework now.
